June Photography Challenge Winners....

To all the great gather photographers who entered the June, 2007 photography challenge contest - FANTASTIC job! It was so difficult for me to choose the winners. I had a short list of over 30 photos! i had no idea, when i suggested a theme near and dear to my heart, that i would be viewing and judging such incredible photos. it was difficult to judge some photos, for they were just gorgeous, but maybe focused more on items other than water, with water just being a background, if you will.

If you know my work, I like taking (and viewing) minimalist photos. however, the winner of this month is a landscape - an extremely powerful shot of the Oregon coast. thank you to everyone for submitting such great photos.

to me, this photo exemplified the very meaning of the theme, water: light, dark, soothing, crashing, in many forms (liquid, mist, foam). fantastic shot!
