Introducing My Molly's Rock Photo Parade! There are 12 photos in the set. These were taken on vacation a couple falls ago in Rhinelander. Molly's Rock now no longer exists (it was blown up prior to our visit) The photos are of the area where Molly's Rock once rested. There's rumors there is still some rubble left there from it. The photos of the rock I'm holding are because I thought it possibly might have been part of the remaining rubble as Molly's Rock was painted with an image of a duck and this rock was clearly painted.
It's said that if you take a piece of the rubble back from the area it causes bad luck for you. To read more about Molly's Rock and the legend click here. There's also a photo of the rock on that site prior to it having been blown up. There's another story about Molly and Molly's Rock here.
