For the past 24 years, the Doo Dah Parade has been a tradition in Columbus, Ohio. This is what freedom of speech is all about! People show up with their sense of humor and vent their frustrations with the world in creative, silly ways. Political commentary on the national, state and local levels is a staple of the Doo Dah and no one is safe...not even the dead! Others come just to celebrate life, the universe and everything. Onlookers throw candy to the marchers and all politicians wishing to participate must wear a silly hat. If you ever find yourself in Cowtown on the Fourth of July, be sure to catch the Doo Dah. It always begins at the end and it's as American as it gets! (Oh yeah, and the rain date is always July 3rd!)

Thanks for taking a look!
Too far to drive with gas prices an all, but it sounds like you're going to have fun. (This is a comment link for A Stone's Throw Away. It was written for you're entertainment. Don't click this link until you're in the mood to be entertained.)
