Early this morning around 5 AM, the fire/smoke detector outside of our bedroom sounded. Both my husband and I jumped out of the bed and checked every where, but there was no fire or smoke. My mother-in-law was sound asleep and didn't hear a thing. I was surprised that my baby Kyleigh was not woken up either.
I am glad it was just a false alarm. There are enough unfortunate things happening to us lately, already.

glad it was a false alarm...
It either happens early in the morning, or late at night.
The Fire Department had told me that sometimes if the area around the smoke detector was dusty, it might go off too, and suggested that I vacuum around it. I did that also.
So, I have no idea why it was going off.
