What Blog Site do you use/prefer?

There are so many options out there and it seems the main two choices that everyone uses are either livejournal or blogger. What do you prefer? What do you use?

What are the benefits and drawbacks of each?

Is there a great one I haven't named?

What do you think is the best way to go about starting a new blog when you have never had one before?

I had never used a blog up until a month ago, then I noticed Picasso had a button to let me Blog things - I can send pictures to a blog. It turned out to be Blogspot and it is really easy . I really like it ,but have nothing much to compare it to. I am disappointed at more people don't sign in ( you just need a Google or Gmail account) to sign in and leave comments . I tend to use LiveJournal only because it was the first one I ever heard of and now it's a habit and I haven't looked much at other ones. I've tried a few others, but soon forgot them and so I stick with LJ. I'm not sure of any benefits or drawbacks. It's pretty basic and that's what I like about it.

Blogspot is a cool and flexible site and the features are easy to use. You can create separate pages or categories for your work. As well, I would recommend Multiply. If you're a photographer or artist, in particular, you can choose your own picture frame designs to create a cool presentation of your work and promote the site to your business prospects, not excluding separate categories, pages and groups.
