The Lost Is Back

Sometime on Saturday afternoon I lost my internet connection and did not get it back til a little while ago.  I apologize for not being able to comment or take part in the GEG and GMG groups.  I think those who kept them going did a wonderful job.  It is good to be able to publish and send email again.

Hi Flit. I missed all of you too. I was having withdrawal symptoms. I am hoping that we can follow your suggestion of one article with several administrators so that we can avoid so much confusion. If I don't lose my internet I will be on GEG tonight.

So what do you think about the idea of having a group with multiple moderators for the chats to make them easier to find, Audrey?

Several people have said they like the idea (and I would set it all up for us) .... but we didn't like to go ahead with you

I think we need to do that so that it is easy for all to find. If you want to go ahead and set it up I willl serve as an administrator if you need me too. I don't know much about the steps of doing that but I can pick it up quickly I'm sure. I also would like to have one person or group br able to reap the benefits point wise. There are a number of us who have family members with learning delays, autism, and other challenges. It there a possibility of a group where the points would go to help children? I think we could all agree to that.

I can go in and set it all up in a jiff and will send you all the info .... and the points to charity thing is a popular idea.... won't have to worry about it for awhile, but I think everyone that has commented liked that aspect and would love for them to go towards children's charities.

I think that whenever the account earns enough points for it to be worth, could talk about where they should go...

It may be that we might want to use them to support a gather member that has a special need, too .... that would be cool.

My walking partner dumped me for our afternoon walk so I am going to try to do some catching up on Gather. I see there is still another war waged on Bob B. Why does this crap have to keep going on. There is room for everyone on Gather until the Gather administrators tells us all that it will be limited to specific items.

To tell the truth, I was in a depressed mood without my friends at Gather. I did force myself to do other things to take up time away from home so I wouldn't miss my computer so much.
