Five Shameful Things About Me
- My car rarely gets cleaned, although I do take out a large garbage bag and put the garbage into it. Since I won't take the bag to the curb until it's full, there's often a half-full garbage bag sitting in my car for months at a time.
- No one gets in my house. My own mother doesn't get invited over. If workmen come, I have to leave. Sincere offers from friends of free painting, spackling, and drywall hanging are refused. This is a problem, and I am working on it.
- Sometimes I hide in the bathroom to avoid my kids, especially if they're chasing me around the house talking about a computer game.
- I nicknamed my older brother "Happy Fun Ball", although not to his face (I'm not that stupid plus it would hurt his feelings). My friends know him as Happy Fun Ball and look confused if I use his real name. He's basically a good guy but in my opinion emotionally and intellectually irrational. Since I'm mouthy and opinionated it's just best if I don't make direct eye contact. I think there are dominance issues involved...
- I broke my mom's rib while she was carrying me, and I've gleefully informed her as an adult that if I'd known what she was going to be like I'd have broken more.
Shame on me.

All of us Js have to stick together today.
An old boyfriend and I had more fun with that than anything else out of SNL that year -- and it was a good year.
No one gets in my house either. I have a friend who occasionally feeds Spike for me when I'm away 24 hours or more; for the past 6 months I've boarded him for a fee at the vet's rather than make my house presentable.
Great list. I chose wisely.
I loved the last one.
I'll think aobut my list for a while, and come back here as soon as it's ready for posting.
