Progression of a Sunset - Photos

  Ventura Beach, California

I'm placing all these shots in an essay because I want to show the progression as the sun sets.  Right now they're scattered all over my Gather photo bin and since they were actually intended as a progression as the sun set, I decided to do it this way.  And I finally found the last two.  There may be more but they're scattered somewhere.

The shots were taken with a Canon regular camera - you know, the film kind - and then I scanned them.  I tried to do the shots at three-minute intervals.  Once the sun gets to mid horizon in the west, it sets pretty quickly.

Thank you all so much. Forgive my tired, cranky comment in the beginning. I'm just this wicked perfectionist and I should know better than to do something when I'm tired.

Beautiful photos. Sunset is my favorite time of day. I also used to love summer sunrises but I'm seldom up early enough to see those anymore.

thx for com on my waterbank lake shot.....sorry this didn't work out how you planned....i can never get photos where i want them for my critique group articles...yes, one cuts off here,but i just looked at them one after the other top right.....good idea and i love the capture of the last light on the foamy surf....i still only shoot film with a Nikon N60....older,but trusty...cheers,gayle
