A group in Denmark burned an effigy of Mohammed (instead of a witch) at the traditional midsummer festival. Below is a translation of what is said in the video:

Is this sort of thing necessary? Why must the entire Muslim community be attacked like this because of the actions of extremists? Most Muslims are peace-loving people who just want to be good citizens and members of their community.

Do we attack the Christian community because of the actions of Timothy McVeigh and his ilk? No, of course not.

I am interested in a discussion. The E.U. has been severely reevaluating their immigration policies lately and it looks like they will be issuing some major curbs for residency.

The Muslims are pretty well bent out of shape as it is and I see this as a deliberate provocation against almost 50% of the world.

I had a son-in-law who was a Palestinian Muslim and I loved him like a son. He taught me a lot.

I find it more interesting that they still burn effigies of witches. The burning times have been over since the early 1800's. Please tell Leah I've posted a vintage Danish /America postcard. It's in my content and I'd appreciate a translation of the words.
