You asked me
whether i believed
in Jesus Christ?
and i answered you:
I feel sometimes i am Jesus Christ!
I do not believe that God
had one child he had singled out
He did not want Issac
to be sacrificed
just as he did not want
Jesus sacrificed .
(or so i would like to think anyhow)
I believe that the creating force
just wants us to live
and treat eachother ,
as all parents wish ,
in just and good ways
we need to reach out
and take down
all those that have been
crucified
In Dafur, in India
in east and in west
in lush green forests
and the desolate desert
we need to love and embrace
and about the man on the cross ?
what about the lessons he learned
and about what he taught
to love , to love , to love?
The holy trinity
is the love within you
it is the love within
me.
A note to Karen :
You tell me you want your son to me a missionary to your church ,
your husband who had left you had agreed to sponser his mission to talk to people about God.
I remember being about nine years old and opening the door to a missionary,a woman holding
bibles, my mother turned white, she said not to open the door, and not to touch what the woman
was handing out.
That was my first encounter with a missionary, in Israel where it is officially not allowed.
Years later, i chose to take a course in Christianity at the Hebrew University, it was taught
by a Franciscian monk that had won the nobel price for peace a few years before.
I remember seeing him walking down town in Jerusalem, i did not know whether to greet him
or not, he saw me, he noticed me as i had asked questions in his lectures that were always packed with students,
he greeted me hello, and for me that was and always be the essence of Christianity,
he was humble, he did not try to convince, he lived his way , was ready to explain why and how
but never to treat religion as a commodity, he lived his religion, he lived in peace and love and harmony.
I forgot his name, it was something French, however i will always remember the softness of his
eyes, the Dali Lama had it, the last pope the former Polish underground fighter had it,
my (modern)Jewish orthodox grandfather had it;
the ability not to judge, not to force your opinions on someone else, but to live your life in
peace and love, to walk your way and greet people that you happen to meet,
so don't talk to me about God, show me how you live your life, how you greet a stranger
on the street, and i will believe that you are walking the path towards him. (or her)
Don't preach to me, don't try to make me believe, love me, show me the love within.
