Well if you have two kids then two puppies would be okay, if you have one kid two puppies would be too much, and if you don't have any kids then the two puppies would be nice if you each took care of one of them. In my opinion puppies are great. Make sure not to get puppies that will grow up too quick as that will surely take up a lot of time and effort and you might not be able to give that.

I had two English mastiff pups at once and it was really positive experience. They had each other to keep company, and mostly because two puppies playing together is just too cute. I really don't see a reason for waiting because a dominant pup will always be dominant doesn't matter who come first.

I think it could be fun. Our first two are 5 months apart and they don't like each other. I think two puppies would be the best of buddies. I also thing housebreaking two and having that out of the way would be great to get done all at once.

Two puppies at once sounds good. They would grow up together, and therefore always have company! Puppies tend to 'whine' a lot. Maybe if there were two of them, they could keep eachother company. Plus, you wouldn't have to go through the whole 'introduction' stage if you wait till the first dog is older, then get another.

Two puppies, to be companions to each other starting at a relatively young age would probably be best... And that's when they're the cutest, playing together, providing you lifetime memories.... I would opt for the two puppies at once....

If I am wrong, then I'm back in the doghouse....

We bought our puppy about 6 months ago and I wish I would have gotten 2 at that time. She loves to play with other dogs so much, but I don't want to get another at this point, and go through house training again. I'd also worry that she'd get jealous of a new family member now.

If you must have two, then I would get them at the same time. I just think it would be best for the pups.

I don't see why not. If you have the time and patience to deal with antics of 2 puppies, then go for it. They will bond much faster with eachother if they are both the same age. They will keep eachother company and occupied when you are gone and maybe they won't get into so much mischief.
