I don't mind my kids listening to that Lynn as long as they try other music also.
A couple of months ago the radio was on and my son asked me who was on. I asked him if he liked it and he said he did. I was Hall and Oates. He was shocked to find out how old it was lol.

I have had to slow down the head banging some though. I find myself a little stiff and sore the next morning. Plus it's not quite the same without the long hair LOL

Yes there's a song that asked "when did Motley Crue become classic rock" and I have to say I don't know. I still remember hearing how bad it was for me. LOL

I remember when my kids were in Jr. High, they started talking about this cool new group that had released a hit song, and they couldn't get enough of it. When I saw the group, I went in and pulled out one of my favorite old cassettes, and played it for them. The song I played was "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith. They apparently had just had an album hit the charts and none of their friend had ever heard of them. My kids listened to my music a lot more after that day. But I have always had a very eclectic taste in music growing up on country and Big band music at home and Rock at school. I could listen to AC/DC then put in the Statler Brothers! LOL

Me too Lisa when I was in the Army my friends would complain about how I could switch from George Strait to AC/DC and then to Wagner all in the same car ride lol so I know what you mean about being eclectic.

Lynn I will say that Lemmy and the boys definitely rocked. I got into some heavy rock while in Germany( well heavy at the time) Man-O-War, W.A.S.P. ect. I try not to limit myself in my music. (right now I'm going through a Flogging Molly stage can't get enough lol)
