NEED SOME HELP OR ADVICE

OK everyone....

I need 600 points to cash in on my first $50.00 gift card to Home Depot. How long does it take to earn the 600 points and what can I do to speed it up?

Can you all help or give me some tips?

Dark is right. Go for the pictures. Then comment all over the place and you will find people commenting for you. I think you might get more points now for commenting on pictures too.

It depends on what you are doing. Right now, try the images.....they are really giving the best points for your work.

On average I'm getting 150 points a day just from commenting on other people's photo's and articles. That's not including the stuff that I publish.

I'd personally like to get that average up to 250 points a day, but it's going to have to wait another week or so as it's a little hetic here at home right now.

During 'normal' time periods on Gather; Write/post...read/view...rate...comment. It usually takes me 4 or 5 days to pick up 600 points that way. Now, during the '10 Points for Photos' promotion; like the others have said...post images in addition to the regular routine and those points will pile up even quicker, especially with this promotion extended through July 8th. (Don't forget, the image with the most "10" ratings of the day gets a $20 Borders gift card...and the person who makes the best comment on the winning picture also gets a $20 Borders card.)

The more groups you join and post to also helps. People will see your articles and images more. Just be sure to post according to the group "rules"

I was going to suggest posting a bunch of images by 07/08/07 for 10 points per image!!! What is that? 60 images, I think....someone already suggested doing the image thing! I think making a lot of comments & publishing a lot of articles should help too! Good Luck!

How long will the points get added to the total. I added a couple of pics, commented, etc, but am only getting about 7 points for about 4 pics and a couple of comments? Are the points added on immediately?

I learned quite a bit reading this--I also gave you a 10 and hope all these comments help. I try to spend an hour a day on Gather reading and commenting but was unaware of the picture posting value until now. Tonight I'm going to post pics and pics and pics.
