Frog pulled back the mat by the back door hoping to find some worms. Instead she found this.
A spider, an ENORMOUS spider.
Those dots on the back? Those are not dots. They are baby spiders clinging to it's back. We put it in a pot and relocated it.
Of course we took some pictures first.
A big spider in a big pot.

The "dots" were scampering around.
The spider is now living in the garden near where it was found.

Ok, garden spiders DO play an improtant role in keeping our gardens healthy. They eat a lot of other bugs some of them bad bugs. So thanks for posting this on Gardens Galore.
