Gideon read not six but all seven days on the first week. He also had some time checked off on the bonus card, but I never got a photo of that. I think he had 45 minutes extra for week one.

Gideon was given a basket and asked to pick one puzzle piece since he completed his card for the week. He did so and got a delightful monarch butterfly patterned piece. They led him to the other room to a huge wall with multil colored pieces of paper with puzzle pieces outlined on it. This is wider and bigger than Clint and I are tall!
So, he was asked to find where it goes. We helped a tiny bit since this big huge wall probably was overwhelming for him. He found the spot and turned the piece into place.

He then took a glue stick and added some glue to the paper.

Then Gideon glued it in place. Here dad sticks down a corner that Gideon had missed with the glue.

Here's a macro view of Gideon's piece (on the left side.)

We noticed a display of the Junior Detectives on the back wall listing all of the young kids who are participating this year.

There's Gideon's detective hat!

I'll update later today once we get back home from the library for this week!

A whole wall of puzzle pieces? Wow. Talk about a message of group-mind at play! Yeeha!
