my first memory

my first memory was of my brother falling back into a glass window or door and cutting his back.  my mom told me time and time again that it didn't happen.  then, i talked to my brother about it when we were all visiting one day.  yep, it happened.  he has a scar to prove it.

what is the first thing you can remember as a child?

A giant cookie. I was about two years old and I remember this HUGE cookie. one day I saw a picture of me with a cookie and flipped out because I REMEMBERED it. My grandmother laughed until she cried and said my face looked just like it did when she gave me that cookie, and was surprised I remembered it. It must have been some cookie...

(((Being surprised on my 4th birthday...my Aunts took me out for awhile..then, when we arrived back--they opened the door and gigantic puffs of smoke came from the old flashioned-bulbs of the camera...so, I was a little blind for awhile...but, that didn't matter...there was "Pin the Tail on the Donkey to play...)))
