I completely disagree bad day to join earned only a couple of points and sent an e-mail to complain about the number of times I was logged out and the slowness of the site. I feel sorry for anyone on dial up, as they must really not be happy with your post. I'm not rating this discussion just adding information.

I signed up with NetWinner a few weeks ago. I forgot to participate in this promotion, but it doesn't sound like I missed out on anything great. The site isn't all that fun. I simply choose the Quick Pick since choosing my own numbers takes too long, whereas I can do something else in another browser window while the Quick Pick selects the numbers for me. While I am hardly a regular user, I have less than 2,000 points. I'm pretty sure that you get 500 - 1,000 points simply for registering, so I have not earned very much since I joined. Gift cards cost about 25,000 points, so it looks like it will take a long time to reach that amount.
