Mother Wisdom Speaks:
You have thought of yourself
As one who watches.
You built a tent to hold your vision
And you became that tent,
Enclosing the light.
To see what you really are
Let the tent fall,
Stand naked on the mountain.
Search the endless spaces.
I whisper to your heart and you believe I am the wind.
I call you from the place you built for your security.
Just when you believe you understand yourself,
Just when you believe you have faith in Me,
I whisper to your heart
Summoning you forth from your place of understanding
Into the unknown.
I call to you from the homes of those who have lost hope,
I call to you from the bedside of the dying child,
I call to you from fields of genocide,
I call to you even from the eyes of your betrayer,
I call to you from the chill of terror,
From sleepless nights,
From the granite cave,
From beside mass graves
Where water has dried up
And storms raise the sharp desert sands.
How can you see?
How can you hear?
How can your heart be moved
If you resist this darkness?
And I whisper:
I am the Transfiguration.
I am the coming of the Light.
