Every year, on the 2nd day of camp, we have a camp-wide volleyball tournament. It's always a lot fun because every cabin in the camp dresses up in a costume. This year, our guys' cabins dressed up as pirates and lost boys. We watched the movie
Hook on the way to camp to pump us all up. We don't let the students know until we get there what we are going to be, so the leaders do some shopping before hand. This year, I bought
pirate weapons, swords, and
guns, fairies, glitter for pixie dust, and eye patches. We ended up bringing pajamas for Michael and John, green tights for Peter, and of course blue tights for a Tinker Bell. We didn't spend the big bucks on the
Pirates of the Caribbean costumes, but we didn't need to. It was hilarious, and our guys had a lot of fun with it. Rufio, Rufio, Rufi -- ooooooooooo.
