As I was eating in a small restaurant, a man and woman were finishing up their meal in the next booth.
They were getting ready to pay for their meal, each pulling bills out of a wallet. The woman's money had been mushed into the wallet, while the man's had been put in carefully.
Her comment was - your money is so straight, mine is so crumpled. His reply, "there's nothing about me that is straight." Yes, he was gay.

Elizabeth, I don't think Leslie meant it to be anti-gay at all. She was just reporting a conversation and commentary a man jokingly made about himself. Of course, I will leave it to Leslie to respond to your question. I was just sharing my own experience of the article.
Thanks so much. I am leaving for vacation and rushing to comment on all my connections today. I'll be back the first week of July and I hope to be able to catch up then. Have a great week.
