Well, Mac Johnson has an article detailing a report that tried to figure it out? So, what do you think about his article?

Okay, okay fair enough. Now, here's another question....
How much did it cost some of my high school chums parents' to pay Hispanic workers rather than American workers -- I mean the money they SAVED -- to pick their produce?
How much do these rich parents save when they pay undocuments workers to clean their homes, wipe their babies behinds and noses, do all the gardening on their properties INSTEAD of the wages they would have had to pay American workers to do labor laws?
How much for house repairs done by itinerant undocumented workers who are simply trying to survive, selling their skills for much less than all of us KNOW who would have to pay a licensed professional to paint our house or fix our plumbing?
Let's keep it real here.
Most of my high school classmates came to school every year in brand new cars. Those Republican farmers were making big bucks off the undocumented workers. One of the classmates proudly announced (I won't mentioned names or exact figures) that so-and-so was SUBSIDIZED MULTIPLE millions of dollars by Uncle Sam NOT to grow anything on his land in that year so that the smaller farmers could get a break. I'll bet he was thanking the undocumented workers all the way to the bank for their previous year's work. My classmate was proud about it; I just shrink lower in my seat and growled.
Please, let's keep it real.
I have another friend who lives a few miles from the border in Southern AZ. She sees the wall. She says the higher they build it, the higher the Hispanics climb, and the border officials SEE and don't enforce. Instead they allow the big rigs, that's right BIG RIGS, that they know are bringing in drugs to pass right through as helicopters fly above.
I think that is why Mike Gravel made the statement that the drug problem will never be resolved, and if this country wants to be hypocritical and pick on Hispanics, okay, but FIND AL QAEDA here first. Then go, and pick on the Hispanics!
For the rest of you, which presidential candidate is the best one to tackle not only the illegal immigration/greedy employer problem, but also be tough on crime & terrorism within our borders. As Nalita says, who do you believe has the best plan to find Al QAEDA (sp) here.
I already know Nalita's answer. Obama's her top choice. By the way, girl, I do hope you're on his campaign staff. With that much Obama energy, it would be a shame to waste it.
Have these candidates even mentioned crime or fighting terrorist plots and plans within our borders?
