This article made my blood run cold.

Listen to what the two year old (who they left wandering alone through the house!?!?) repeated:

"Mommy was crying. Mommy broke the table. Mommy's in rug."

 

I just pray she's alive and they can find her--fast.

yesterday they thought they had found her newborn baby...will have to do DNA to know for sure...

Yea, we've been watching and hearing this on the news for the past few days. Creepy isn't it? Now they're wondering if a new born that was dropped off on someone's door step ( I think yesterday ) might have been her baby. They're doing DNA testing to find out.

Oh, that is horrible!! Not one more of the depressing things we must hear on the news! So many things happen to us alone that we can honestly say, I NEVER thought that could happen to me, but it can! I pray for the young mother!!
Has there been some news since last night when I saw this on Larry King? No one knew if she left the baby willingly or if she had been kinapped or killed as of last night.

I watch the morning and evening news every day, not much gets past me. I don't think she left the baby willingly. The house was ramshaked and a comforter was missing, the mattress was askew and someone had poured bleach on the floor in the bedroom next to the bed. Sounds to me like they were trying to cover up evidence.

He boyfriend is a cop...a married cop! He recently seperated from his wife who knew that his girlfriend was pregnant. The two year old is also his kid!

That should be "Her boyfriend" not "He boyfriend" sorry.
The title of this article was just confusing to me. The whole hour on Larry King was devoted to this story.

Oh I love playing detective. I also think that the "rug" the little boy is referring to, is actually the missing comforter...I think whoever it was must have laid it on the floor and rolled it around her body. The little boy thought it was a rug since it was on the floor. Just my thoughts.

Oh I can't watch Larry King anymore. All I can think of is "someone puleeze, give that man a sammich." He's just bones and skin.

Sorry, didn't mean for the title to be misleading... I didn't mean she walked away, just that she left BEHIND a 2 year old (however she disappeared...)

If it was the boyfriend... OMG he left his own 2 year old son just wandering around the house alone!?

They're saying he's not a suspect but he says they're treating him like one. They have given him leave from the police force until this is straightened out too.

Thanks for clarifying, Dawn. The grandmother thinks that the comforter is the rug and my thoughts were like Moggy's, that wheover killed her wrapped her body in it. Who knows what that poor little kid witnessed?

I also think it might be the wife of the father of her child or someone she got to do it for her.

It isn't confirmed that the child the missing woman is carrying is this same guy's offspring. I think it is, though. According to her mother she was very much in love with him. I somehow don't think he loved her as much. They were not even living together according to the mother.
Lera, according to the King show they are not asking the child questions because they don't want him to answer according to "false memory." You know, instead of remembering something as it happened, children can think they remember things because it has been said before or asked a certain way that puts thoughts into their heads that aren't so.

Wouldn't the 2 year old know his daddy, though? Wouldn't he have said? (although he could have come disguised, I suppose...)
That's what I thought too, which is why I think he didn't do it, but that his wife or someone she knew did it.
And if he did do it, which is possible, yes, I think he would have disguised himself, for sure!

Well, I would have thought that it was some nut case who killed her to steal her baby. But, if that's the baby who was left on the door step, that isn't the reason for the murder then.

Now, if it's a murder for hire type thing, would he really care about the baby? If I could kill the woman, I could kill the baby or leave it to die somewhere. I wouldn't be leaving it on no door step with formula.

I'm going to put my money on the boyfriend first and the bf's wife second. Them having one kid together was one thing but two? That was just one too many. He didn't care enough about her to leave his wife over the first one.

Besides, some cops have a dark side. Many of them beat their wives. And don't flame me! Statistics back up what I say. I'm not anti-police. I love policemen, but some of them do have problems.
They don't know if the baby left on the doorstep is hers. The DNA tests have not yet been completed.

Not until next week, they said, the DNA tests would be back??

I read in one of the articles, there was a restraining order put out by the cop-boyfriend's soon-to-be ex-wife for violence against her... she refused to let him in and he smashed a window or something?

Oh, so they don't know for sure about the baby. I guess one shouldn't jump to conclusions, but ..........

See, I haven't really been following this story. I've just heard bits and pieces. So, the cop was getting a divorce? Hmmm.

The cop fathered the FIRST baby (the 2 yo-Blake) with the missing woman BEFORE he even filed for divorce... reports vary on whether his wife knew about the baby or not.

If he's innocent, I feel awful for him... if he's guilty.... I can't even say what I'd like to do to him. :x

See, I can't understand people. As much as I hated my ex, I love my son so much that I would never think of killing his father. Now the mother of this woman, Jessie, said that this guy loved his son. I can't imagine that if he did that he could kill the child'smother, much less kill the mother in front of the child.

They might have been arguing and he could have done it in an emotional rage. Probably didn't even mean to. Who knows?

I don't think they did it together, Moggy. But, stranger things have happened.
Could have been done in rage. The worst thing I ever did to my ex was mop up his beer that I tripped over in the middle of the night with the shirt he was going to wear to the office the next day, (he was an attorney), and poured spaghetti sauce in his Toschi shoes.

I am soo glad I do not have to worry about being killed cuz I am pregnant anymore... Her boyfreind may have done this in rage also, but still... There is no reason for this.. and if it was him, why would he have left the child behind alone...

There are too many pregnant women being killed for the unborn babies. It is a sad world we live in today.

Sadly, this situation has happened several times before and its usually the husband or lover who took (and killed usually) the woman. I suspect her boyfriend did something to her. It would be great if she and he baby came home alive and well but things aren't looking good right now.

Since I live in Northern Ohio, this has been all over the news. I think it could have been the boyfriend, the estranged wife or maybe someone who went to abduct the fetus.

There was a case of fetal abduction here in Ohio about seven years ago.

The last news report I saw states the baby on the doorstep is NOT her baby... which takes us back to did some one take her to get her baby?
This is so not good... she's been gone too long. I'm afraid all they'll find is her body... if they find her at all.

How very senseless. She's dead, and if he didn't kill her he didn't save her either. He's useless! And he probably did kill her, so he's loathesome and useless.
