Do you folks ever use Yahoo question and answers? What do you think of it, do you think it is a lot like Gather or not? I have had several people tell me they are using it now instead of Gather, but personally, I don't find them any more the same than apples and oranges. I mean, one is for asking questions to get answers for, and the other (gather) is for posting sooooo much more than questions. I mean, how could someone honestly compare the two?
I think the only similarity that Q&A has with Gather is that you post something and get responses, but that is where the comparison ends. There is no poetry, short stories, pictures, recipes and all the rest like we have on Gather. To be blunt, Q&A is a joke compared to Gather for true community generating and sharing.
