My little girl had surgery this morning to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. It's been a long day, but she is doing well. (YAY!) She got to come home a couple of hours after surgery this morning and has been sleeping alot since then. She is very tired and sore, and a little nauseous because of the medicine, but otherwise doing very well. Ice water is all she really wants right now, lol.... poor thing can't hardly even swallow jello. But the worst part is over, and the next couple of weeks she will spend recovering. Then, no more strep throat and tonsilitis!!! YEAH!!
She has had lots of prayers already and it shows. Now she needs them for her recovery, so any and all are greatly appreciated :-)
We took lots of pictures (with my new camera *;-)*!!) for her to work on a scrapbook since she can't do much else. I'll post some more of them in the next day or two ;-)

She is feeling ok. Today has been a little rough as most of the meds are all completely worn off now, and I am having trouble getting her to take anything because she is so sore. But she is sleeping alot and still drinking ice water and getting a few bites of ice cream and pudding down :) Thanks for all your continued prayers!

Lol - she is finally starting to eat (YAY!) She actually asked for bread and butter and has gotten 2 pieces down! Woohoo! Definitely an answer to prayers :-) Thanks you all so very very much for praying for her. Granted, it isn't alot, but that is more than she has eaten in 3 days and she is a little perkier tonight. Especially after having such a rough day today!

i'm glad she is starting to be a little perkier...i keep thinking about how she is now...an im actually afraid to come an see her, b/c im afraid the girl im gonna c isnt my best friend.....an that she's gonna be completly diffrent.
But I will still love her NO MATTER WHAT! :)
She even asked for cereal today, lol!! So now she is waiting for it to get soggy so she can eat it ;-)
