Well, here I sit in front of my computer... Gathering. After severe back pain yesterday morning, it finally eased off mid afternoon. So, I went to church last night and nothing exciting happened.
I was awakened this morning about 4:30 am with an urgency to pee (hmmmm, wonder why?) and as I crawled back into bed, I felt my stomach contracting. I counted the seconds... only about 20. And it wasn't too painful of a contraction, so I drifted off to sleep.
Hubby's alarm went off about an hour later. I had to pee again (I know, it gets old for me too!) and crawled back into bed to wait for him to get up after hitting the snooze button several more times. Dozing a bit, I noticed another contraction before 6 am. Again, not very lengthy or strong.
Hubby left for work at 7 am and another contraction hit about 30 minutes later. And again at around 8:30, then closer to 10 am.
I have not had another since. I guess now that I am up and going, they have eased and I am not officially "in labor." A disappointment to this household! Hubby was ready to come on back home, but I didn't feel like it was really time. And I didn't look forward to going to the hospital just to be checked out and sent back home.
But now, we are on our toes and I am packing my bags so I will be ready when the time really comes.
So, if over the next few days you don't see me much on Gather, and I don't get a chance to publish an update seconds before rushing out the door. Rest assured that I am on my way to have a baby girl and we'll pray that all goes well.
