I'm clearly in the minority. I guess I have a hard time with smiling suns. laughing doors, angry sidewalks etc. The anthropomorphism in such a small piece stuck out like a sore thumb that was -well, frowning.
well historically you're definitely in the wrong place-- and I am not really very persuaded by your comment-- it's not anthropomorphism, but literary heritage taht allows the sun to smile because it is Apollo --somehow you just lack the proper education to have much depth and so is okay. you can have your talking doors and elevators. that's not my world.
