This was written last mothers day,just sharing:

 


 You left before we all grew up Though short the time was sweet The love you gave did fill my cup You raised me on my knees And tho you've gone on to a place where pain and strife is not I miss you mom like yesterday The love is ne're forgot. At times I look in my sister's eyes Yes mom you dwell in there I marvel as you look back at me And my heart doe's form a tear. I miss you "Mother"(written by MW) may 13,06

Very nice, my grandfather, mother and aunt had all the same unusual eyes....lots of yellow in them. I so relate. Sorry you did not have your mother very long in your life..

Keep on writing Mae! I enjoy your work and it just takes time on gather. Try and make connections with others and make comments on their work...sometimes they go looking at yours too!
