GOOD MORNING, GATHER - Breakfast Club (June 16, 2007)

Welcome, everyone! It’s good to see all of you again on this beautiful Saturday morning. How will you be spending today and tomorrow?

We have a number of people and/or their friends/relatives going through physical and other types of trying times -- Flit’, Audrey, and Cindi, to name a few. Please keep them in your prayers.

Does everybody have their coffee and/or breakfast yet?

What is in your local newspaper this morning? Any interesting news?

It is going to be 88 here in Boise, and get into the 90s tomorrow. Summer in the desert has arrived, I’m afraid.

Remember, tomorrow is Father’s Day. Get your cards and presents bought!

Come on in, everybody, and greet your friends here at the Breakfast Club!

Yesterday was my husband's appointment at the Movement Disorders Center in Gainesville. He's going to be part of a new study on PD medicines

Tomorrow is a really big day for us. In addition to being father's day it's my grand daughter's 15th birthday. My other granddaughter was 15 last Sunday.

Thanks for the good wishes William. Local doctors are always so negative ("you have to realize this is a progressive disease. . . you have to expect" etc"). The spirit is always so much more hopeful in gainesville. "We can't cure it, but we can treat it . . .".

I agree Greg, and when they gave us 90% chance's for Lilly there still was no way we would have thrown her Away, we already loved her. We had waited more than 10 years we were taking what we got!!
But you know, everyone i know who has a special needs child, feels the same way!

Do you have plans for Father's day??

Ya know.. this insomnia thing is kind sucky... I end up reading the "morning" stuff at 9pm! LOL
Actually, I originally answered a similar question with "oh, nothing much" but woke up recalling that I had a graduation party/picnic to attend today. So I got my whopping 4 hours sleep.... I lie.. it was 4 1/2... and then off we went to party a bit. I got this stuff on me ... I think they call it SUNSHINE... but I'm not sure. I think my body had a reaction... it's turning color!!!!! This is kind of new to me since I live on Lake Erie... also known as dreary Erie! LOL Enjoyed old friend, good food and a day out. Tonight nothing much, just chilling. Tomorrow Fathers Day picnic with the mom, dad & sister and her family plus my kids and me.

So basically a nice weekend, with a little 'picnicking' in between.
