He reached down from on high and took hold of me: He drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foe who was too strong for me. Psalms 18:16-17
MESSAGE FROM PSALM 18
©Robert C Burnham
He drew me out of deep waters
and placed me upon dry ground;
He used His love to lift me up
when I had almost drowned.
He gave me hope within the dark
When I asked, He opened the door;
As light poured out from His Holy Grace
My spirit began to soar.
Even as I floundered blind
He showed me how to see;
By dying, He stole away my sins
And gave me life, eternally.
He drew me out of deep waters
for you He will do the same;
If you'll just give yourself to Him
The Book of Life will list your name
There is no water deep enough
to turn His heart away;
There is no enemy too mighty
When to the Lord, you pray

Thank you Robert.

But if I were to share my testimony, I would lose my friends. They would rebuke me, they would deny me or they would simply walk away. Though I guess, since I have so few, the loss would be minimal. Still, it's a testimony, I can't share. And I fear the Lord waits for me to do just that.
