Everybody who has kids has had to watch them make mistakes. Some are really hard to watch, and you really hate the idea that it's going to be, well, ugly. Other times, well. . .
It was a cute hairdo. It took her friend hours to make all those tiny cornrows. I knew, but I figured I didn't have to tell everything I knew.
And then she grew tired of the braids. It took nearly as long to take out as to put in. But the hairstyle had taken on a life of its own. It didn't seem to be dangerous, even though it looked like it might swallow her at any moment.
Sometimes it isn't hard to watch them.

The only time my hair WILL curl is if I braid it and then wash and dry it still in braids.
She's gonna hate you when you show these to her some-day fiance', however.
