The Wonderful Scent that Wafted through my Window.

I was reclining on the sofa yesterday. Ron was outside mowing the lawn and it had just started to rain. I smelled something, and thought that smells so nice. After a few seconds I identified it as the scent of newly cut grass. I am allergic to grass; fortunately I am not allergic to its scent. Do any of you like the smell of freshly cut grass?

It all depends on the day and the moment. Sometimes I don't have a problem other times I do. What I can't stand the smell of those it wet dirt!

Grass does smell wonderful when freshly cut, and I love the smell of rain. Or honeysuckle on a cool evening breeze, or...well, don't get me started.

I've got a perfume that smells a bit like wet grass - it is called RAIN and it is made by Demeter (fragrance library). It is suppose to smell like grass after a storm has gone by. And it does. There are others - one smells like fresh soil (I don't think it is called DIRT but it was something like that). And one was like the ocean or beach. Only about $30 for a small bottle.
