My neck of the woods is high desert at 8,500 feet in the Inyos.Pinyon Pines were logged out during the mining days...hmmm... I wonder how I can turn this into a tale.....

Diana, as long as there are trees and it's a place where you can connect with the natural world, it's a forest in my book. Richard Louv writes of urban parks and even wild prairies in his book, Last Child in the Woods.

I would love to take part in this. Lately I am having some type of identity crisis. I have no idea what is causing it; truth be told I have not been out on a hike in over a week, and it really effects me. The deadline is tomorrow, unfortunately...I'll try some other time, I think!
