The boys were at PowWow, that is the district camping weekend for Rangers for church. I got very little sleep, the house was just too quiet.
What is good that instead of being terrified at being alone I actually visited friends, did some shopping and had my big and exciting night of shadowing the photographer at the first wedding I've ever photographed. That was an amazing experience, I loved doing it. Seeing the wedding was great too, it was so sweet and romantic (they played you're incredible while he held her hands and stared into her eyes mouthing the words and she blushed). It made me feel reconnected to my own dh even though he was an 1 1/2 hours away at the lake of the ozarks.
I was going to go to church alone Sunday morning (which I usually refuse to do, a long story I'll tell sometime) but my blood sugar was too low to drive so I was stuck at home. There is an advantage to being married or having a roommate, at least I could have still gone while he drove and I ate my candy waiting for my blood sugar to level out.
I finally got the call early in the afternoon that my boys were back!!
Two tired, sun-burnt and hungry boys, er men?
Here's mom and her fav son!
After we ate lunch we went over to my friend K's house to see her baby bunnies that were born while Z was out of town. He's never seen a baby animal this young before.
Z looking a little concerned holding his first baby bunny.
It's hard to tell what it is in this closeup.
Here he is with his best friend pirateladybug holding another bunny baby.

You can kind of tell what this one is because its baby bunny ears are showing!
K and her fam have also created a beautiful pond in their backyard-

It's amazing what they've done on their tiny less than 1/4 acre of land between the ponds, the swimming pool, the yarden and the roof top garden - they're growing a paradise in the middle of the city!
After this we were all so tired we went home and took a nap!!
Now for life to get back to normal?
ha,
what is normal anyway?

I'm glad you liked the article, I'm just glad they are home!
It was way too quiet!
The cats were soooooooo quiet!!! They followed me from room to room as if they didn't know what to do or how to play without Z there!
I bet he won't forget either!
thanks for coming by and enjoying them!
My friend is renting, it's kind of a tri-plex. They don't own their property, they have an itsy-bitsy back yard and they've expanded their garden onto the top of the carport in the middle of the city. It is an oasis. You don't have to wait until you own. They have permission from their landlord. There is something you can do no matter how small your space is!! My friend with the garden is Kryistina Rite and her gather thing is whimspiration.gather.com. Write to her, she'd love to exchange ideas with you! She calls what she does a farmette!
I'm so thrilled to hear you showed the bunny pic with your daughter!! that made my day :) I've never seen one that little either. I was over there today and they are getting fuzzier but still eyes are clothes and they nuzzled their mommy so cute!
