It's now early Monday morning, and i should probably go to bed for a few hours, to be up in time to see Mom in the morning. She arranged to work a day in Guelph this week, so we could get together one more time before I leave.
I still have to get my clothes together (the night before I leave I'm going to do one massive load of laundry and pack everything I wash then...it won't be hard), and go to the bank. I need to arrange to have my mail held at the post office, and I need to pick up a few things at the mall, before I go.
One of two Turkish friends from the University went home to Turkey for the summer. We said our goodbyes before she left, because I had no clue if I'd be here when she came back. Another friend of mine is still here, but might go home to Turkey to stay, and since I don't know when I'll be back from AZ, she might be gone when I arrive home again. I remember the last time the three of us were all together at The Second Cup. I'll miss those evenings.
That's one of the problems with making really good friends...eventually everyone re-locates. Thank God every one of us has e-mail.

Yes, thank God, dear Sis! ;-) Hopefully, you will always stay in touch, no matter what happens. And I can't wait to hear your news from Sedona!!! :-))
Love and hugs - S.
I have the same two girlfriends that I have known all my life and I am 52 years old that still live here in montreal with me. yes of course many others left.
BTW I LOVE Email! I would never hear from anyone without my computer, it kept me connected to my nephew for 3 tours in baghdad!!
I want to go there having heard about the spiritual lift from Sedona for years.
A lot of families of troops have said the same thing about e-mail. That's wonderful!!! My brother-in-law is going to be called upon to deliver things to Mom and everyone else, when I'm gone, since he has e-mail and a printer.
In a way these will be a long two days, but in another way they won't be, because I have a few things to do. I need to pack my clothes and do laundry, I need to go to the bank, I need to get some stuff at the mall... all kinds of stuff to keep me busy...on the other hand, I can't wait to take off!!
Walker and I want to go to Turkey some day. Perhaps we'll run into Hande and Nil there.
It's not as much of a hassle as one might assume, since I am traveling light, and have a lot of it out of the way....oir is it that I'm too excited to let it be a hassle?
thanks for the good wishes.
I'm not sure why. LOL I guess because I've lived here for 25 years and it's somewhat familliar. LOL ;-) Also, I don't know how long I'm allowed to stay in the States.
Yes, Guelph is truly awsome. I love it. How cool that your granddaughter was born there. I'm glad you've enjoyed my stuff so far, and yes I'll have loads of fun in AZ.
(ducking and running before Walker reads this!)</>
(I am referring to the green bedspread that I thought was lettuce during your last trip to see walker)
