One of my worst nightmares if finding a good fitting bra that is comfortable. If the fit isn't good, the comfort isn't there. I have found two bra manufacturers that have great bras that are comfortable and have great support. Here is a link to Aviana and Goddess. I know what you mean with having a good bra! With me wearing a 36DD it can be quite a problem and chore!!!! LOL! I have found Bali to be the best fit for me personally. So if you got big un's like I do, check them out.;)
Since I am very short like Dolly Parton, and short waisted, I prefer bras that have less hooks in back and that also means less depth in back, i. e. from top to bottom of the band. I also need straps that aren't so wide on the shoulders, as I have a small frame at 4'11". But once you get past size 36 that doesn't seem to be available. So I rarely find anything really comfortable in size 38 or 40 DDD.
I just saw Dolly last week at a health food store which I frequent often. I don't know how she can be comfortable. I am a little older than she is and have been carrying this natural shape since I was 21 years old. And it has taken a toll on my back. So having a well fitted bra is essential. I used to be able to get Gossard bras which fit the best. But I haven't seen those in years. Bali and Warners and Vanity Fair are good in certain styles.
My wife is also a well-endowed lady and I know she always has trouble finding a good fitting bra.
You'd think with the obsession that we men have over the female mammary glands that some clever engineer would spend all his waking hours working a bunch of full-breasted women trying to satisfy their comfort needs while enjoying a kind of intimacy with the objects of his affection, eh?
