I wrote a short article on my visit to the Tucson Reid Park Zoo and published it on Associated Content. The link to the article is http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/268996/visiting_the_reid_park_zoo.html
I am going to eventually expand the article for use in my Tucson nature guidebook, so any suggestions on info that you feel should be included would be helpful. I have some ideas of my own for inclusion, but would be nice to hear from others.

You might want to consider combining some of the sentences to cut down on repetition. (eg. This is where the zoo's highlight is located. The highlight of the zoo is the polar bears. --> The highlight of the zoo, the polar bear exhibit, is located here.) You might also want to list the four areas of the zoo after your sentence like so: The zoo has separated their animals into four main areas: the Asian animals, the African animals, the Adaptation Zone, and the South American animals. This will set you up for describing each area.
One thing I would like to know: what was your favorite part of the zoo? Did you have one? And when you do finish writing this article, will the pics be nestled in the text? Do you have a favorite animal? Do you have a pic of the water play area?
