The Paris Hilton show continues.
The right word may be circus, but the press is creating a frenzy to make it look like most people care.
I think that most people don't care, and they are getting tired of it all.
As for me, I think this whole thing is funny, well, sort of.
It is good for a few jokes, but there is a very sad part of it all, and that is the fact that drunk driving is a terrible thing to do.
DUI or DWI has caused many problems from loss of driving rights to hurting and killing people.
Maybe some jail time will wake Paris up to these facts.
She cried when sent back to jail, but it could have been a lot worse for her.
In a way, Paris is lucky.
She did not kill anyone.
The name Paris Hilton has become a phenomenon.
Her every move is on tape, and her life a story.
She is the talk of the town.
Paris has done all of this by doing very little.
Some people have a knack for that.
It is all publicity and not much else.
It sells, but it really means nothing.
That is, until something bad happens.
Yes, her life is a story.
I just hope it does not have a bad ending.

Now, after she was let out and then re-arrested, I feel bad for her.
The sentence appears to be too harsh for the crime, which at this point is driving with a suspended license, not for the original DUI charge, which had already been dealt with by the courts.
I think she's getting a raw deal because she's rich & famous, just the way people get raw deals all the time because they're poor and unknown.
Here's a funny one to check out:
LIKE, is she a hotel, in Paris?
Paris is now is some sort of facility that deals with the psychological health issues of inmates. Why was she not sent her in the first place? These are important questions that should be addressed.
I''ve been waiting to hear more about the Great Conspiracy of last summer in the UK that led to banning liquids and gels in carry-ons (now somewhat ameliorated by allowing 3 ounces). I also wonder how credible the JFK fuel-line plot was, and how many government agents were inside the group. But, instead, we'll get day-by-day accounts of the spoiled rich girl...
But I honestly don't think "little rich girl" will ever grow up & change.
