Judging - What Next?

   Thanks to all of you have have participated.  I'm sure you are aware that the deadline has passed for submissions.

What Next?

There were 175 photos submitted to the group.  Judging and Review has already begun.  As you might have guessed . . . this will likely take a little bit of time.  Of course . . . we'd hope so! 

I am eliminating myself and my submissions from consideration.  Being the group owner and having declined submissions . . . it strikes me as the proper thing to do.  Besides, I'm in this for the photography and not the GLORY . . . uhhh . . . and . . . I can now stand back and say It would have been MINE!!!  :)  Besides . . . . As much as I plead, there is this adamant refusal to change the prize to a fire-red convertible Mustang ( *sigh* ).

One Question

Anyway . . . wishing all of you luck (especially the judges) . . . and tolerant patience is the only thing requested at this point.  Well . . . that and your thoughts.  As the judges narrow down the selections . . . would you like to be kept aware of semi-finalist and / or finalists?  This is a first run contest for the group and, while the judging process might not permit it, I would like to know how you all would think on this topic - even if only for future reference.  Would you like to see anything done differently?  What would you like to see in the next contest?  Would you like to see more of this type of contest . . . with anonymous judges selected from among the membership  . . .  a different group for each round??  Would you be interested in judging?
