Paris Out of Jail -- Updated

This is ridiculous! She (or any other star) should have to do equal time just like anyone else! What if she kills someone while driving? Are they gonna let her off on that to if she cries?

Was it too hard to eat off the plastic plates?

I bet she broke a nail. Thats an emergency.

I think maybe she didn't like the fact that the food isn't catered and she couldn't have her cellphone. Also, being in jail she couldn't whore for the media and she missed all the attention. It must have been a crushing blow to her to be treated almost the same as everyone else other than for the private cell and all.

no cafe late' there. , the stripes are out of fashion? no cameras there to photograph her every minute.

This sends the exactly wrong message to the cadre of spoiled brats in Hollywood and elsewhere that once again confirms in their mind that they are indeed above the laws that govern we mere mortals.

Trust me. You will see her in some sort of medical clinic and they will be arguing that she either had a breakdown or that she is ill. This doesn't cut it because the jail had doctors available to it.

I blame that on her parents 1. for raising her to be a spoiled brat. The media 2 for glamourizing (not sure if I spelled it right ;) ) her so much, I think the only reason we DON'T see a photo of her farting is because there is no sound in a photo. and Finally ALL Paris Hilton fans. I mean, what are they idolizing, really? Her sister works harder and gets less attention, ah but that's probably been like that all their lives.

You know - we both know that mutual friend who went thru the similar process, Carolyn. IIRC, there were some fairly strict terms associated with her house arrest - and violation of any of those terms would have meant instant re-incarceration.

One can but PRAY that this spoiled brat decides that the rules about THIS don't apply to her either - and gets her anorexic fanny thrown back into the slammer ASAP.

Well if she did not like the food, and they wanted to release her, then they should have given the twit 10,000 CS hours at the local water treatment plant... I'm sure she would have been ok with that, and be able to eat her fancy food...
Besides being a daughter in the Hilton family, is she actually known for doing anything besides slutting around? Seems like that is all I have ever heard of about her....

Dan? The truth is she is a high school drop out who couldn't even pass a GED. This particular action by the police sends the exact wrong message and confirms what we already know: there is a different set of laws for you and I than there is for the rich and terminally self-indulgent.

I would also figure if her CS had to be somewhere it should have been the sewage treatment plant, not the water plant.

No. She doesn't really do much of anything. She has zero in the way of talent. She's tried a lot of stuff and been really bad at all of it. The only thing she is really any good at is posing for the cameras and being famous for being rich. If she were born into any normal family she would simply be trailer trash.

My wife works for our county Sheriff, who administers the local lock up. He will tell you that jail is SUPPOSED to be unpleasent--bad food, cold cells, unpleasent companions, isolation from family and your past routine. Its PUNISHMENT, not therapy, and its supposed to make you regret your past mistakes. Send Paris to Schenectady, NY, three thousand miles from lala land! We'll take good care of her. LOL!

BTW Martha and Lil Kim survived jail. Bye-bye any street cred for Paris. Crying your way out of jail! ROFLMAO!

Perhaps the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department should release a list of the medical conditions their health officials and system is not equipped to deal with. This will help Natasha and Maria in their attempts to get out of jail early.

Good point, Juan. You can bet your bottom dollar that the police department wouldn't give a rat's fuzzy backside if Natasha and Maria cried or didn't eat the food. They wouldn't care if they were cold.

Those people made a huge PR blunder by giving in to a spoiled brat's temper tantrum. My bet is that it's going to come back and bite them.

UPDATE: My god this is getting hilarious. Apparently there is a DA there who is furious she was let out. The original order reprimanding her to jail specifically says "no home detention." The judge has ordered her and the sheriff back into court tomorrow morning and may send her back to jail.

The family friend I mentioned heard that Ms. Hilton was put on home detention without a single one of the normal rules which dictate that there can be no alcohol in the house, no convicted felons, etc. My friend hit the roof. She had to go to jail, etc. and her offense was almost identical with Ms. Hilton's. She got no special treatment, and even when she was out her home detention has a bazillion rules. She is literally free to throw a big drunken brawl tonight if she wanted. None of the normal rules apply to her apparently.

One doctor, speculating on her behavior point out that today was her third day in there. He said that with alcoholics it generally takes about three days for then to start really feeling the effects of no alcohol. So her "near nervous breakdown" could be nothing ore than DTs.

Update Update

She and the prosecuter and the judge and the "officials" who allowed her to leave early are due in court this morning at 11:00 a.m. Pacific. Apparently the judge is livid, the prosecuter is livid, and there is a good chance that whoever made the decision to change her sentance and let her out with an ankle bracelet will be charged with Contempt of Court.

Hmmm- wonder what they were originally serving? Preferential treatment should not be allowed in the judicial system. Thankfully someone was watching who realized that. ~j

I think we should all have to pay for our own mistakes and she should be treated like everyone else. Our judicial system is based on choices that we have all made and when we make bad choices then we have to pay the piper! Seriously this country is based on our right to make these choices and the right to a fair trial. I think we have to know that rich or poor we all have to pay for our mistakes and the sooner we learn this the better off we will be!
