If you've not been looking after your body properly (you know, not eating fruit and veg or exercising), then you need to give your body a well deserved detox. There are a variety of ways to detox, some are very intensive and can give you side effects. Whilst there are other detox methods which are gentler and ideal for incorporating into your everyday life.
Juicing
If you have a blender then you can create a wonderful array of juices to help you detox your body. There are so many recipies available to try, you'll have no excuse for getting bored. It's generally better to use a blender rather than a juice extractor because you want to keep the healthy benefits of the fiber. Taking a daily amount of fruit and veg is very important for health and also if you are planning on losing weight. There are so many health risks to being overweight so enjoy life more by juicing as often as you can.
Detox Foot Padx
Detox Foot Pads have been very much created for the lazy detoxer. There is nothing to this other than sticking it on the sole of your feet at night. In the morning you wake up to find the pad has turned brown with your toxins. As far as I know there haven't been any scientific studies so I can't personally recommend you buy it. It's up to you.
Exercise
There may well be a whole host of different detoxing products but one of the ulitmate methods of ridding your body of toxins is simply to exercise. It doesn't matter whether you are exercising using expensive gym equipment or exercising outdoors via walking or jogging. By exercising you'll be sweating out all those nasty toxins that have built up in your body. Just remember to have a shower afterwards and you might even want to use the skin brushing technique.
Tea
I always thought that it was only green tea that was good for you but it seems I was wrong. Black tea is also great for the body. They don't just detox you but also help you lose weight, kill bacteria in the mouth and gut plus helps with diabetes. You will find lots more on my squidoo lens: Health Benefits of Tea.
