Not surprisingly, Rudy McRomney started off strongly in the debate beating the drums of war. My question is: can this tactic actually fly in New Hampshire? Can we possibly support a candidate who, even after the overwhelming preponderance of evidence we now have, does not think that Iraq is merely a distraction from the real “War on Terror?” Who has the chutzpah to stand up and say that we’ve dug ourselves into a hole and we can’t get out by digging harder (or trying to dig “up” as the case may be)? While I don’t have polls to justify my stance, I couldn’t fathom the possibility that another hawkish president would get the go-ahead in the general election.
I’m glad to see that, at the very least, Ron Paul is trying to move Republican policy away from and speaking against the narrow neo-con perspective.

Even with all the media mind-warping, Americans apparently can still recognize truth and integrity when they see it.
Must be something in our DNA.
"It's the war, stupid".
