I don't have a favorite band, Andre Segovia was not a band.

My Favorite female artist is Gwen Ifell. My fantasy is to hear her and Tavis Smiley talk to each other about current events.

I told Bradley in private that his writing was like Inna Gadda De Vita. I did not tell him it is my favorite modern popular song. Far and above all the rest. I did not tell him that because I wanted him to feel a little insulted by what I told him in private.

Just one song and artist? Impossible! lol I am such a music fanatic, that I listen to pretty much everything - with the exception of religous music. So choosing just one artist and song is really hard. One of my favorite songs is "Disco Duck" by Rick Dees, and another would be "Devil Went Down To Georgia" by Charlie Daniels. Of course there is "Tattood Dancer" & "Dreamer" both by Ozzy Osbourne. Marilyn Manson, Janet Jackson, Janis Joplin, Krystal Blue, Geri Halliwell have all become favorites over the years.... among many many others.

Oh wow... don't ask me for a favorite. It depends on my mood, though I tend to enjoy the bluesy sounds... I love "The Promise" by Tracy Chapman... or the bittersweet moments of "Opening Farewell" by Bonnie Raitt.

When I'm in a silly mood, or need energy for cleaning, Meatloaf's Bat Outta Hell (or anything from that CD) are great...

Then of course, there's Social Distortion... Reverend Horton Heat...

If I'm in a dark angry mood, Tear Garden can be good...

Peaceful? Mozart, maybe some Beethoven, or Vivaldi...

Yeah, it is almost impossible to just pick out a favorite....I could fill a library with just the tunes I love from the 60's, 70's, 80's and you know I even enjoy everything else in between, thanks for posting: Maiken, Sarah, Lisa, George and Jen....my mom loves Elvis, givin' a choice I'd rather listen to Chuck Berry or Little Richard when it comes to that genre of music....but Elvis does rock. By the way I had to listen to some listed above You all have some good taste in your musical preferences.

When it comes to music, I'm all over the charts. I like almost anything melodic. I like everything from Glen Miller and Perry Como up to some of the new Alternative Rock. I enjoy listening to Bluegrass on Sirius. I don't have any one favorite song or favorite artist. If I had to choose, I guess side A of Eliminator by ZZ Topp would be at the top. I like a lot of Black Sabbath. The best album I've heard in the past ten years is Mechanical Animals by Marilyn Manson. This is odd because I think all of his other albums are garbage. I was starting to get into Country, but after the way the Dixie Chicks were treated for speaking out against the disgrace in our White House, I just stopped listening to Country.
