"Everyone has a place in history. Mine is clouds." - Richard Brautigan
Whenever I am witness to a magnificent post storm sky,

I am acutely conscious of the world we have made for ourselves suspended just below it.

No matter how secure we feel, we are at the mercy of storms
but we are beneficiaries of the beauty left in their wake.

In all of these photos I have left some of our world in contrast to the majesty

of the world we are nowhere near to being masters of.

That is a beautiful piece of work.
Thanks for sharing it.
Your Photos and Words are thrilling to me. North or south,
we are on the same wave length. Wonderful!
Karl: cool idea!
elizabeth, Amy: thanks for your very kind words
Angela: me too (about clouds)
Thanks Gary, that's the cloud that made me decide I needed to break out the camera
Barbary: Thank you - I feel that vibe also, and I am glad for it.
Cheryl: I'm glad you love storms - I do too. Nothing like a good thunderstorm. Thanks for your generous comment.
Jacqueline: Thank you so much. I'm glad I could get across a little of the wonder I felt.
The words and pictures say it all.
Thanks!!

amanda, Thanks for your praise. You are very special and your words are like water in the desert (much like amarpreet's beautiful Haiku). I have had very little time lately to Gather but I have been watching your page for new work. I like your poem of the same title very much. I hope you are feeling more grounded these days.
