Princess Grace,Princess Faith, Princess Joy, An Princess Hope. The story behind the names(no this is no girl rock band, either) LOL

So a lot of people have asked "HOW did you get the nickname Grace or formally known as Princess Grace"? Well This is gonna tell ya how.

Well Kristen D. known on here Kristen to me b/c she is my awesome youth leader, she gave me the nickname.....for 2 reasons, an your gonna laugh all the way through this article.

In the Bible when someone becomes a Christian, when God changes their life in a profound way, He often gives that person a new name.

Abram became Abraham, Sarai became Sarah, Jacob became Israel, and in the New Testament Levi became Matthew, and of course, Saul became Paul.  And these are just a few examples.  I'm sure we could find lots more if we looked for them.

Well, I guess this kind of started as a joke, but God has a way of turning things around.  Miss Leslie earned the nickname "Grace" last summer by her frequently ungraceful accidents.  Poor girl was covered in bumps and bruises all the time :)  so we just started calling her Grace and well, it stuck.  So much so that shortly before Christmas when she came forward one night at church we realized that she IS a picture of God's grace.  And it continues to show in her each day.

And of course this fall, Miss Shea didn't want to be left out and said we should come up with a nickname for her.  So after contemplating the matter, she became "Hope", because her caring nature and joy in life give others hope.  And honestly, it fits.

And so now, my lovely neice, Miss Jazmyne, has joined the ranks of changed lives and therefore needs a new name as well.  And I think I may have it.  I was priveleged to be up front leading a hymn when she decided to come forward in church the other day.  And it was wonderful to see.  She didn't hang her head or drag her feet down the aisle.... no, she was EXCITED, and she practically ran down the aisle to the pastor.  And I will not forget the look on her face as she came forward.  It was a look of pure joy.  And that is where I get your new name... "Joy".  What do you think?

Now my title says this is the Princess Club.  And, well, it is.  Membership is lifetime guaranteed and has only one requirement to be admitted.  You must be a life that God has come into and changed, a Child of the King.  Upon entry into this elite club, members will recieve a new name in glory, the status of "Princess", and all the priveleges, powers, and perks afforded to all daughters of the High King.  Including but not limited to.... Unconditional love of God, home in Heaven, Holy armor of God, training in Righteousness, His protection, and God's perfect directions for life.

I can honestly say that I am a princess.  My father is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  And I have been priveleged to see God changes the lives of some of the girls around me.  Hence is born the Princess Club.

We are Princesses.  We are sisters.  And we share the amazing priveleges and powers given to a daughter of the Highest King.

Princess Grace

Ok, so my name is Princess Grace, ok my name is really Leslie, so how did I get Grace. Well in Christ, some people
in the Bible when they started 2 follow Jesus their names were changed like Abram to Abraham, Sarai to Sarah, Saul
to Paul ( i think i got that 1 right if I dont my awana leader will kill me-lol), and may be some others. Well as I was saying
I AM A CHRISTIAN I BELEIVE IN GOD AND I AM NOT ASHAMED TO TELL,actually thats why im here to tell
you. I either got the name when I accepted Christ (or doing the summer when I had a lot of bike accidents and I had a
whole bunch of bumps and bruises either way) I am a CHRISTIAN either way!!!I an the Daughter of a King, The Lord of
Lords, He is the Living God, and I am His Daughter Princess Grace. Well I have a couple of friends they r Princess Faith
Princess Joy, and Princess Hope. Without them I'd feel pretty loney,especiall without Faith, with faith I have Hope, and that
brings Joy. their my friends they have been there since the begining and I know they're there 'till the end. And u know what is
so great I got to be there 2 out of the 3 when they accepted Christ as their Savior. What is I was there 4 them and I hope-lol
they know that I still am, and I always will be. Ok so Hope when she accepted Christ as her Savior it was at our Church camp
that we go to every year (this past year was wow, ill write a blog about that 1 next), and she was so excited and hopeful(hence the
nickname hope). And Joy well she was very excited (no sorry thats an understatement) she was so full of JOY and God's GRACE
I even saw her feet kinda moe like she was gonna dance up the aisle. I will never forget the looks on both of my friends faces, and I
especially loved giving them hugs, my new sisters why not. You know there are a few things we all have in common all 4 of us, along
with every other Christian in this world. 1: is were all Princess's. 2: Is well all have a little bit of each other in us, Grace, Faith, Joy, and
Hope. 3: is that we know (just like every other Christian does) the comfort of Gods arms r only a pray away. 4: is we all know where
were spending eternity, we will be with each other at the last trumpet.

Proverbs 17:17-A friend loves at all times.

I hae known all 3 of them 4 several several years, I have gone 2 the same church with them 4 as long as I can remember. We'e shared
hard times, sad times, happy times, fun adventures, scary adventures, adentures, depressing moments, some very deep secrets, love, our
relationship with God, we've shared a lot. You know im gonna say something 2 every1 else that hasnt been given a special name and in our
little thing here, I hope that u find great friends that u can count on and know they care, like I did. I feel we have this really nice bond really
special, I feel like Lena, or Tibby, or Bridget, or Carmen one of the sisterhood of the traveling pants girls. Of course our bond is focused
on someting much greater, and we dont share the same pair of pants-lol-lol. Princess Grace/May Grace, Faith, Hope, and Joy be with
you all.

Grace-the undeserving love and salvation God gives
Faith-Believing in God.
Hope-Knowing there is a light at thend of the tunnel.
Joy-Over excitement, very happy.
