A lab technician has captured what is being called the most compelling video yet of what many deem to be the mythical Loch Ness monster â€” so compelling, in fact, that the normally reticent BBC Scotland aired the footage.
â€œI couldnâ€™t believe my eyes when I saw this jet-black thing, about 15 metres long, moving fairly fast in the water,â€ said Gordon Holmes, who took the video on Saturday. â€œMy initial thought is that it could be a very big eel. They have serpent-like features and they may explain all the sightings in Loch Ness over the years.â€
