These photos were taken years ago with my first digital camera. I don't remember what it was. It wasn't even really mine. It beonged to my husband's work and I borrowed it constantly. I just know it was primitive compared to what we have today.
Also, I didn't know anything at all about digital photography. I had just discovered the joys of capturing beauty and not having to wait or pay for photographs to be developed. Then I started playing around with photo programs and manipulating the photos.
Sorry I didn't record the technique I used on each one. I also didn't know about saving to tiffs before working on photos or anything else about saving the resolution of the image. So, I think I've come along a bit on all that but I still like these for what they are.
Here is the original photo. I still had to doctor it up a bit before posting here. There were pixtals missing.

Following are 5 renditions of this photo:

Thx for showing the various effects....i love waterlilies but thus far have not shot a decent photo of them usually because the light has been too harsh and without getting into the water, some areas are always blown out.....pretty color of these ones....most i have seen in my area are either yellow or white.....i still shoot film,so know i will have a technical learning curve once i go digi...very nicely composed with the diagonal placement within the framing
Thanks to everyone. I just love playing around with the filters.
