We've had Fuzzy a week now and it has been an interesting week. He seems to like it here and fits in well with my husband and I, but Missy, our two year old cat says no way is this cat staying. She is still have trouble adjusting. After all, she loved being the queen of her domain and now this cute little fur ball is trying to take over. Missy thinks this kitten is really dumb........>

Doesn't even know it's supposed to sleep in the house, not on top of it.
But Fuzzy just wants to try out a new place.
He's always mewing when he wakes up and seems very hungry for such a little thing. We have been feeding him Fancy Feast canned with quite a bit of water mixed in. He still tries to suck it out of the bowl which leads to a lot of sneezing. No more kitten formula as of yesterday. He didn't want milk or bread and milk today, so it looks like it's just cat food. He makes a huge mess for such a little thing too. He insists on standing in the food while eating. I don't have a picture of this, but I'll be sure to get one for the next update post.
I can't get him to drink water either. He uses the litter pan, so that is a good thing.
Fuzzy loves his mouse the best. He doesn't play with anything else right now, except my feet and legs. I have to wear jeans all the time because he thinks I'm a tree. Here are some pictures of Fuzzy with his second best friend.....

Fuzzy bites the mouse!

The mouse is almost as big as him but he doesn't care.

Now he's ignoring the mouse and planning an attack.

He grabs mousey again. Take that you dirty mouse!
Well, all that play has tired Fuzzy out. After some consideration of different places to rest, he decides he'll check out my purse.

He thinks he can squeeze in here and not be found by the mouse.

Yup, this worked out just fine.
See you later.

You can hardly tell where Fuzzy stops and the mouse starts! Great articles & pics!
Keep him far away from me
I have two cats - large cats.
I am hoping NEVER to get a kitten - I don't have the patience for their energy.
Thanks for the photos.
we put some fun pink covers on the cats at one time (even billy) and it was a hoot - but most of the time we (I should say I) put the clear ones on. Once you get the hang of it and do it a few times - it is easy and the cats get used to them fairly quickly too... It is just for training anyway...
When I had just gotten my kitten, Monster, (who has since been cat-napped by my sister!) he used to be locked in my room with me at night with the litter box there and food and such. We didn't want him to get stuck in a hole or anything in the middle of the night. Upon getting into bed, he would always play "Chase the Feet." That was then followed by "Bat the Ball Hanging on Her Dresser." When he was finally tuckered out, he would curl up on my pillow and wrap his little body around my head. Many times throughout the nights, I would wake up because his purr was SOOOOO loud. : ) As annoying as it is, it's too adorable to hold against them.
Lainie - Sounds like what we are doing - taking Fuzzy upstairs at night and closing the bedroom door to keep him/her safe.
I have many pairs of socks with blood stains on them now, it thinks I'm a tree.
Barb - I have a feeling this kitten will rule in the end.
stephanie - I'm not sure Fuzzy is going to be orange, he's more tan right now. He's a cutie either way.
Quinn - He loves to be very close to me.
Rose, Thank you for your kind words.
Thanks.
