Turning Points

Most people have that time in their life, when confronted with a major life choice. The choice will determine which way their life goes. Some of us have been faced with choosing a career or having children, some of us have been faced with a divorce and starting over. There are a number of other situations that people have to make a major life choice in. These are never easy choices to be made and living with the outcome can change a person forever.

What was the ONE turning point in your life?

We moved home for my husband to go to uuniversity, the children were young and in school, we worried about the disruption to their schooling, but it turned out best for all of them, 2 of my children are dyslexic, hence the concern, but the move meant they were able to go to a school much more suited to their needs. My husband did brilliantly aswell, he attained an upper 2:1 degree

I've had many smaller turning points, but I don't know what I would say was the ONE, single turning point that brought me to where I am now. Interesting question!

Yup - quitting my job in the IRS and going to Hamline Law school. A decision I will regret for the rest of my miserable life.

Hubby's retirement was life changing and I am so glad he did it.

I married young, I don't regret it...but, there were sacrifices. I had children, which was wonderful...but, one of them hasn't turned out the way I would like...I still wouldn't change the choice of having him. I think there are always pros and cons with life choices...you simply need to do what is truly best for you-both now, and for your future.
