local festivals, parades, multitudes of theaters (both movie and stage) and forest preserves. Ya gotta love it!
Currently in Olympia/Seattle Wa. area it is sunny and warm (65).
Washington is called the Evergreen State. I wondere why? It's covered on the westside with lush fir forests, and east side with desert. We basically gewt the best of both worlds. WET on the west side, and DRY hot on the east side.
Dont be fooled though, we do get snow during the wintry months-sometimes downright frigid temps.
Washington has 2 world class renown Tropical Rain Forests-just like dream lands.
Ocean, fres water lakes, forests, mountains, and ethnicity from all around the World. All of you must come visit the State at least once.
We have a nice quiet state park--Hungry Mother State Park
We are 1 hour north via I-81 of the world's fastest 1/2mile--Bristol Motor Speedway
We are in the middle of nowhere considering we have an interstate running thru our county
We have to travel 30 - 60 minutes to have a nice dinner/supper that isn't fast food
This is a fairly quiet place
BUT---we are lucky enough to have 2 drive-ins--yes, drive-ins within 10 miles of each other!!!
Memories
