Officially the Mom of a Teenager!! .... Oh, my!

Congradulations! My father always said there are joys and challenges at every age of a child growing up. I feel a little silly saying this, but Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse!

Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse! I hope you can find a balance in your teen years between your parents and your friends, because neither will be right all the time, but your parents love you and want whats best for you. Try to work with them. Kristen, I was lucky, my kids were willing to work with me. We tried very hard to be honest with each other. We didn't always like it, but we always knew where we stood, and we knew we loved each other. The hard part is learning to admit when you are wrong, but where to draw the line too. This time can be so very wonderful too. God Bless you and your family, as He did mine!

Ooooh, just got the link so the Happy Birthday is late but well intended. Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse! I have a teenager of my own who will be 17 in a couple of months, it goes by quick. Mom, don't close your eyes for too long that's how quick it is. Enjoy each moment.
